The purpose of the symposium, aimed at healthcare professionals as well as sufferers, is to provide a forum to discuss the use of an integrative medicine approach to managing the lingering effects of Covid-19. Approximately one-quarter to one-third of COVID-19 patients report one or more symptoms following Covid-19 infection. More than 20 various health complaints have been associated with Covid-19 Long Haul also known as Long Covid. Anxiety or depression was the most frequently reported (15.49%), followed by abnormal breathing (7.94%), abdominal symptoms (8.29%) and fatigue (5.87%). This online symposium will address how to minimize these sequela by applying a blend of Western and Eastern approaches. Targeted to patients, families and health care practitioners, the symposium will include experiential and research findings as well as resources for designing effective care pathways.
