This energetic workshop will look into complementing theatrical languages. We will approach specific tools to generate ideas for artistic material whilst enhancing your creativity and well-being. Using movement and voice provocations and engaging in theatrical games, we will explore the different aspects of storytelling: the development of ideas, character building and movement and voice composition.
Alice will focus on the character's composition. Using Lecoq´s exercises, she will explore the non-verbal communication and the embodiment of emotions, spaces and situations, transforming the body into an universe of possibilities.
Boal's Forum Theatre investigates post-modern world problems and their possible opportunities. Júlia uses her experience as an Applied Theatre practitioner and with forum theatre techniques to explore the impact of drama on mental health and bring playfulness and creativity into the online format.
Gabriela offers deep research into the possibilities of creating relationships between body movement and spoken words, with particular focus on the dynamics of contradiction as a powerful tool for movement and voice exploration.
Through fun and engaging exercises, we create an environment that allows for the imagination and playfulness to arise in order to devise new ideas and spontaneous collaboration.
