Full Description:

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is foundational for medical qi gong practice. This six week part two course provides an understanding of the major principles, concepts and philosophy of TCM. Everyone welcome - you can obtain all six videos from the Part One course by Dr Feng HERE. The focus will be on assessment techniques to fully understand the application of qi gong mechanisms that underlie all Qi Gong forms. This ancient wisdom and methodology is applicable to our modern world in understanding health, health restoration and health maintenance. Dr. Feng will build on a lifetime of studying and practicing Qi Gong and TCM. These approaches to health have existed over 4000 years; recent scientific studies have demonstrated broad benefit of regular Qi Gong practice to physical, spiritual and mental health.

Topics covered in the six sessions of this part two course are:
* Fire Element: Heart and small intestine channels
* Water element: Kidney, urinary bladder channels
* Fire element: Triple warmer and pericardium channels
* Wood element: Gall bladder and liver channels
* Conception, governing channels
* Eight extra channels

Dr. Feng, a scholar of the major styles of qi gong, teaches the forms with the integration of TCM and offers insight into the quintessential aspect of healing that is within each of us rooted in self awareness.

Take-away benefits:

This course will provide the learner with an opportunity to learn and master a Medical Qi Gong practice that integrates physical, mental and spiritual health from a Daoist and Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. The forms can be performed with no additional equipment in any space and at any time of day. Participants report restoration and maintenance of more robust health as a result of practicing these forms. This course is inclusive of the Channel circadian rhythm flow.
