Health & WELLth started in Sept 2019 with a series of creative labs in London at Siobhan Davies Studios. Intercultural Roots Creative Labs offered a space for dance and performance practices fostering supportive network, critical inquiry and debate. Intercultural Roots commissioned 16 artists from diverse backgrounds to investigate their own practice whilst looking at fundamental mental health issues.

Artists commissioned for the first and second stage of the creative labs were: Fernanda Mandagara, Lizzy Tan, Celia Mendizabal, Esperança Pera Motta, Otavio Avancini, Manuela Benini, Renata Novaes, Sharon Parkes, Isabella Sperotto, Hui Chen, Sophie Alyette, Froeda Luk, Juliana Pflaumer and Yteng Ding.
