When the Health and Wellth festival had to be postponed because of the first lockdown restrictions under Covid 19, we quickly moved to an online platform by the end of March 2020. In this way we kept practitioners and teachers engaged that were already contracted and connected  with our work and the festival. It also allowed us to expose our workshops, exchanges and forums to a much wider audience than the original festival would have done. In fact our connections and network stretched from the UK and mainland Europe, to Latin America and the United States.

A wide range of commissioned online classes and workshops offered by donations were led by artistic practitioners who were contracted to deliver arts and culture activities between March and July 2020 including: Dance, QiGong, Singing, Yoga, Somatic Practices, Theatre, Breath Work, Traditional Chinese Medicine  Healing. In total, there were more than 187 Zoom sessions delivered by some 30 practitioners at the end of July with 85% positive feedback from the public.  All of which were video recorded and made available to the public as a library / learning resource.

“The class – Qigong-Dance – is delivered in a way that recognises we are a trinity of body, mind and spirit. Whilst exercising the body and mind it also creates a deeper understanding of accessing peace and harmony within ourselves and the world around us.”
