Julia Pond is a dance maker, researcher, and facilitator. Her choreographic work has been presented in the US, UK and Italy. Her research and performance work is concerned with politics, ecosomatics and language. She has taught as a guest at Lincoln University (UK), People's Friendship University (Moscow) and in workshops throughout Italy and the United States.  A direct lineage Duncan dancer since 2001, Julia was a co-convener of the Isadora Duncan International Symposium, and uses core principles of the technique in her contemporary teaching. She holds a BFA in Dance from Boston Conservatory and is finishing an MFA in Creative Practice at Trinity Laban as a Leverhulme Arts Scholar.
