About

Julia is an artist, performer, & movement teacher based in London for the last decade.Julia's artistic practice is based on relationships and experiencing the present in photography, movement, and performance that she explored in her MFA Creative Practice in Trinity Laban.Julia dances and invites you to play and explore presence in relationships, through teaching the following practices:
* Flying Low (by David Zambrano) in Tripspace and at The Place for London Contemporary Dance School (University of Arts) in London, besides in different partnerships in Brazil;
* Dissolving (her practice) in private groups everywhere;
* Organic Flow (by Jorge Itapuã) so far online.

She is co-founder of the Passing Through London collective where they hold monthly sessions in London for the last 4 years.
Julia has already taught many community groups, including learning disabilities and elder people holding fun workshops with exercises to get engaged and involved with the group, environment and community.
Julia collaborates regularly to granted projects with Beatrice Allegranti; the charity called Intercultural Roots, where she performs, holds workshops and work with design and Ella Mesma Dance Company.
She performs and collaborates as project manager with Mandinga Arts, and outdoor performative events.Lastly, Julia belongs to another collective called Salvage as continuation of Dance Research from Ben McEwen Masters at Trinity Laban.
