Krisztina is a Budapest-based dance artist, movement educator, and disability representative who joined Intercultural Roots in 2022. She is the initiator and current Steering Group Chair of the Art Disability Network. Her extensive background in contemporary dance-theatre includes early performance membership in the Lublin Visual and Movement Theater in Poland under director Jerzy Leszczynski, later creating multidisciplinary productions as a founding member of the Filter Performance Art Association, and performing with Artus Studio in Budapest. She graduated as a dance performer BA in the Netherlands, received her Ma degree in teaching dance at the Hungarian Dance Academy, and owns a kindergarten teacher BA degree.
Following a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis in 2022, Krisztina expanded her practice into civic advocacy. She serves as a representative at Skilly, a non-profit boosting employment skills for individuals with disabilities, and joined the mixed-ability dance company ArtMan in 2024 as a regular performer. Additionally, she created „Birdie” delivering story-based puppetry education for children while presently developing specialized puppetry sets tailored for international education. Her career represents intersections of performance, specialized pedagogy, and civic advocacy.
