Laura is a London based dance facilitator, teacher, healer and performer with over 10 years experience working in the creative arts. She holds a BA in dance performance and choreography (Middlesex University) and has spent all of her life being immersed in movement and music. Laura co-founded The Meyer Dancers - a vintage Go-Go Dance Company in 2010, and has performed and taught 60s and 70s dance extensively in the UK and Europe with the company.
From producing events, to choreographing and leading festival sessions at Isle of Wight, Samsung Kx, Jimi Hendrix Museum, Lovebox, Latitude, Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Laura has a deep passion for creative expression and helping people express their true self through dance.
Rising Soul Dance was created by Laura in 2019. She wanted to provide a space for people to come together and unite through the power of dance and music. Laura believes strongly in the power of transformative dance after her own healing journey in 2014 which led her into holistic studies and a journey of 'dancing from within'.
