Myra Stuart (She/Her)

Arts Disabilities Network Programmes Manager - Specialism: Breath/Energy Work, Deep Listening, Dreamwork, Mindfulness, Project Management, Puppetry, Somatic
About

Myra Stuart is a somatic practitioner and project lead for Arts Disability Network. She thrives on ambiguity and loves to create space for individual and community empowerment, liberation and transcendance. She specialises in deep listening and is trained in bodylistening (through Brighton School of Body Psychotherapy), Radical Undoing, and forum theatre(with Katy Rubin). She brings paradigms together, working with clients to facilitate returning to the body as home, and as a powerful processor of trauma and emotion. She has run empowering and action research projects for creative organisations and public services. She also loves to perform with puppets channelling the wisdom and weirdness of ages through cuddly fleece. Think Statler and Waldorf from The Muppets meet the Ancient of Days.
