Ian Kenvyn is the Co-Founder of the Evexia Foundation, a charity devoted to the promotion of physical and mental health, for nearly 30 years he lectured in the Higher Education sector. Ian has always been interested in holistic visions of health and wellbeing; whilst an academic he developed innovative programmes around positive mental health and worked with a variety of organisations to establish a coherent and relevant response to the wellbeing agenda. He also conducted and published research into the effectiveness of external training upon mental health in the workplace. Ian is a Mental Health First Aid Trainer, a long-time Exercise Referral Consultant and Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health. He has also developed and delivered a variety of workshops and short courses that engaged with mental health and wellbeing in the community, in the workplace and for individuals. When not working, he is often to be found skiing, paddling a canoe, riding a bike, or climbing mountains.
