Rose Whyman Ph.D, trained with the Professional Association of Alexander Teachers (PAAT, UK). She has been teaching courses in the Alexander Technique and Performance at the University of Birmingham, UK and other places with drama students, dancers,musicians, student teachers and lecturers for 25 years. She teaches in private practices and teaches courses in the Alexander Technique to other students and staff at the University and in a variety of other settings including health professionals. She is qualified to train teachers of the Alexander Technique and teaches on PAAT's training course. Her research is in study and practice of performer training, specifically the application of the Alexander Technique to performer training methods such as the Stanislavsky system.

Gabriella Minnes Brandes, Ph.D., has been teaching the Alexander Technique for over 30 years. She has maintained an active practice at the Alexander Technique Centre in Vancouver. She has been invited to run Alexander workshops for performers, musicians, singers, and actors, as well as horseback riders, engineers (among others). For over a decade she taught the Alexander Technique in the Theatre department at Capilano University. She has also been involved in training Alexander teachers for close to twenty years. Her research interests focus on connections between creativity, performance and the application of concepts of the Alexander Technique in real time. Informed by her Ph.D. in education. Gaby is also interested in articulating how current theories of learning relate to the Alexander Technique. Gaby works extensively in collaboration with musicians, voice, movement and acting instructors. She is continuing to hone her skills as a teacher and communicator. She is an active member of the Alexander Technique International (past co-chair), the Canadian Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (past president) and a member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (UK), the American Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique, and the Professional Association of Alexander Teachers (PAAT, UK).
