Day 2 of a Three-day Gathering at The Place, London - Featuring Puma Camillê
This workshop introduces the practice of Capoeira Angola led by Mestra Paulinha, inviting us to ginga through the foundational movements of this ancestral art in a conscious and collective way.
Mestra Paulinha’s approach emphasises the power of ancestral movement, the simplicity of connecting through gesture, and the celebration of diverse bodies.
The workshop is open to all levels of experience.

Intercultural Roots and Puma Camillê Producoes (Brazil) are delighted to have received £75,000 funding from the International Collaboration Grants, run by the British Council to support the creation of new cultural collaborations between UK artists, arts professionals and organisations and their peers around the world.
