Arts for Social Change
DAO CreaTech & PLACES by EcoGPX® Symposium (Coventry, West Midlands, UK):
‘Regenerative Futures: DAOs, XR, AI and Community-Led Culture’
On Wednesday 18 February 2026, Intercultural Roots’ DAO CreaTech team and community artists in Coventry will host a full-day symposium at (TBC) The Box @ FarGo Village (09:30–18:30). The day will bring together artists, cultural practitioners, community organisers, technologists, funders and local partners to explore how decentralised tools, XR and AI can help communities shape and resource their own creative futures.
The symposium will share learning from five interconnected Intercultural Roots projects working with communities made disadvantaged in Coventry:
* DAO CreaTech – introducing a new model for co-financing and co-governing creative industries and community production * PLACES by EcoGPX® – a place-based XR platform, an engine for socially augmented media * Extending Nature – digital therapeutics linking nature-connection and mental health * Belonging (BBC Children in Need) – creative programmes with newly arrived young people * Neighbourhood Nature Coventry – local eco-arts activity
