Full Description:

Embark on a captivating journey! Join us in exploring the universal language of geometry, connecting science and art. Engage in drawing activities and conversations, unlocking the beauty of geometric design and its influence on personal and environmental well-being. Each session delves into different scientific branches, revealing the intricate threads that weave existence. Discover the geometric patterns within and around you.

All levels of artistic and scientific curiosity are welcome. No prior knowledge needed. Sessions will be interactive, fostering creativity and understanding. Bring an open mind, as we unveil the interconnected beauty of the world through geometry. Together, we'll celebrate the richness of our shared existence, emphasizing unity and the beauty of individual threads in the grand design.

Materials for the session:

Pencils, 2H and 2B
Eraser, sharpener and ruler (at least 30 cm)
Coloured pencils and coloured fineliner markers
A standard compass. We recommend Rotring, Ecobra or Staedtler.
A3 paper

The sessions will be divided in four:

Session 1: Microscopic Marvels (Microbiology)
Delve into the hidden world of microorganisms. Explore the intricate patterns and structures through microscopes. Translate these discoveries into awe-inspiring artworks, capturing the beauty unseen by the naked eye.

Session 2: Biodiversity in Brushstrokes (Biology)
Celebrate the diversity of life. Examine the wonders of ecosystems and biodiversity. Transform your observations into artistic expressions, reflecting the interconnectedness of all living things.

Session 3: The Physics of Art (Physics)
Uncover the scientific principles governing art. From colour theory to the physics of light, discover how these elements influence artistic creation. Engage in hands-on experiments, translating physical concepts into visually stunning masterpieces.

Session 4: Cosmic Canvases (Astronomy)
Peer into the cosmos and draw inspiration from the vastness of space. Explore the wonders of celestial bodies, constellations, and cosmic phenomena. Translate the mysteries of the universe into art, creating pieces that reflect the beauty of the cosmos.

While the live workshops will take place in Zoom, all participants will receive an invitation to join our Basecamp online forum for additional support and group communication.

Take-Away Benefits:

* Gain Insight: Understand the universal language of geometry, appreciating its link between science and art.
* Enhance Creativity: Engage in hands-on activities for artistic expression and creative thinking.
* Environmental Awareness: Recognize geometric patterns in nature for heightened environmental consciousness.
* Personal Growth: Discover the beauty of individual existence, fostering self-awareness and unity with the world.
* Holistic Understanding: Grasp the connection between personal well-being and the environment through geometry.
